Where Is Your Emmaus?
There comes a time when we get disillusioned and make a trip to Emmaus. Emmaus is wherever we go to forget about the Lord when we feel His failure or neglect of us. However, He is always walking with us, trying to teach us, even when we do not sense His presence. The Lord draws out the hunger of our hearts, because He wants to reveal Himself to us. The service began with a communion meditation in which we are reminded of the finality of Christ’s accomplishment on the cross.
The Anointing Of The Lord
What does “the anointing” really mean? The word “christ” means “the anointed one” and the word “christian” means “an anointed one.” The signs and wonders that Jesus performed were the proof of His anointing. We bear the mantle of Christ and we are called to walk in a double portion of His anointing.
