Yom Kippur — You Must Believe In Transference
In order to understand the experience of atonement as described in Leviticus 16, we must believe in the principle of transference. First, we must believe that Christ atoned for our sins at the right hand of the Father and we received forgiveness. Secondly, we must believe that the sin nature that was transferred onto us by satan was dumped into the abyss by Christ and left there. Thirdly, we are washed and we put on the robes of Christ’s righteousness. His nature is transferred to us and we are free from the nature of sin. We appropriate all these aspects of the Atonement experience at the throne of God, in the realm of spirit. We contend for the complete transformational experience of Atonement to be fulfilled, and our faith triggers this reality.
