BASIC BALANCES AND CORRECT EMPHASIS–PART 6
August 12, 1979 Sunday 2:00 Aft. Shiloh

BASIC BALANCES AND CORRECT EMPHASIS–PART 7
August 12, 1979 Sunday P.M. Iowa
The emphasis of the Kingdom and its great authority involved is balanced with the minimizing of position. Finally we see an elder as another sheep, but with a shepherd’s heart, and we see that apostles were not a religious aristocracy but the Lord’s gift to His people. The devastation of God’s dealings deposes us from the illusionary position we thought we had but never existed. (39 1/2 min.)

ANXIOUS LONGING OR EARNEST EXPECTATION
July 29, 1979 Sunday A.M. Shiloh
We’re in the siege, but ours is not a frustration, but an “earnest expectation” of the deliverance from futility. Our prayers are not passive, but as aggressive as were Elijah’s when he prayed earnestly. The sovereignty of God and the earnest expectation of the believer combine to bring the spiritual breakthrough that the Lord has promised. (42 min.)

EARNEST REJECTION
July 29, 1979 Sunday A.M. Iowa

July 22, 1979 Sunday A.M. Shiloh
The inner conflict of every believer is to overcome the sense of rejection which he carries with him into God’s Kingdom. All relationships, communications and the flow of the Word must come through channels that sense their acceptance in God through their faith in Christ’s atonement. From this follows their acceptance of one another as the children of the Heavenly Father. To reject yourself in His sight is to reject the veracity of His Word. (52 1/2 min.)

WHAT FIGHTS MY FAITH?
January 6, 1979 Saturday A.M. Ana.

October 24, 1978 Tuesday P.M. Ana.
This last night of the Feast of Tabernacles was a true day of rejoicing. Jesus’ relatives had no revelation of Him in John 7. In the Kingdom your closest brother in the flesh will not know you nor you know him until a common revelation comes. The rivers of living water come to those who believe and drink. Believe the revelation of the Lord and become a fountain. This ends the Feast of Tabernacles for 1978–or is it just the beginning? (56 min.)

This is an exposition of Matthew 16 and 17 which progressively unfolds the past and present experiences in this walk with God. THE MACEDONIAN PARADOX
July 2, 1978 Sunday P.M. SoG.
The Macadonian paradox was that the poorest people were the greatest givers and that they gave more than they had. Giving can be a gift-grace in which God causes an abundance of time, energy, resources and finances to flow through a ministry of vision who believes for the will of God to come forth in the earth. GRACE OR NOTHING AT ALL
June 25, 1978 Sunday A.M. Shiloh
Frequently the Holy Spirit emphasizes grace in the book of Galatians. This word and the one that follows, “Is It Legal,” liberates us again from the religious tendency to please God in the flesh. Again and again the word is made real. The change in us that is acceptable to God is by grace. Human disciplines and religious efforts are unacceptable to God. (32 1/2 min.)

IS IT LEGAL?
June 25, 1978 Sunday P.M. Iowa
Legalism and legalistic religion are the efforts to do and become what God demands without His regeneration or creation. Most religion can be without grace or any real change. An exposition of Galatians, chapters 1 to 3. (34 1/2 min.)

THE HUMBLED ARE HONORED
May 27, 1978 Saturday A.M. Shiloh
The factors of greatness in the Kingdom of God are outlined in this definitive teaching on discipleship. A disciple is one with the Lord and dedicated to bring others into that oneness with the Lord. He has a capacity to relate people to the Lord and not to himself. A disciple is not greater than his Lord but he believes to do greater works than He did and he believes that those who are taught by Him will also do greater works in turn than He has. If he is humble, he is honored with a double portion. (35 min.)

DEDICATION DISSIPATES DECEPTION
February 2, 1978 Thursday P.M. Shiloh
This message gives deep insight into the problem of deception which will be an increasing problem as the days pass. The disobedient, the reluctant, the dishonest, the confused, the undedicated, are vulnerable to deception. The promoters without motivation to complete a vision generally end up deceived themselves. Only those who are true to the Word and faithful to its commission seem immune to deception. This message is a sleeper. (32 min.)

THE HEAVENLY FATHER’S SEARCH
January 6, 1978 Friday A.M. Shiloh
How deep is the relationship between worship and intercession? Intercession becomes abortive instead of creative, it becomes defensive instead of authoritative when deep worship is missing. Here is a basic essential apostolic word for the Kingdom now. (33 1/2 min.)

EGO OR NO EGO–THAT IS THE QUESTION

Two things exploded in this service. For a half hour the Lord broke our hearts with concern for His little ones; then the word errupted like a volcano in expository teaching of Colossians on the seer-wisdom and the elemental spirits’ defeat. The word is a keynote to the gospel of the glory, and is related to the coming glory of the church in Romans 8 and John 17. It expounds II Corinthians 3:4 with the apostolic revelation. Here is the important key to the gospel of the Kingdom and the present evangelism of the nations. The word is simple, and we could ask for more detailed instruction, but the keynote and heart of our glorification is set forth. You must listen to it often. (48 min.)

August 12, 1976 Thursday A.M. Shiloh
This exposition of Galatians 5 is the finest distinction between legalism and appropriation grace to come forth. The School of Prophets demanded it to be “four star” for it delineates the exact line between Pharisaic religious discipline of the flesh and the dedicated spiritual discipline of spiritual sons in their divine transformation. Religious flesh can only produce flesh. God begets sons of God. Hogs beget pigs. The School of Prophets must avoid legalism. (66 1/2 min.)

June 6, 1976 Sunday P.M. SoG.

CAIN’S WAY
May 23, 1976 Sunday A.M. Val.
Cain, Korah and Baalam–these three represent the basic end-time sin. Their sin is in their relationship to God and to His people and this word explains these sins that are behind the withdrawal and the building of walls in the Body. Here is another excellent word on our relationships.

CAIN’S SIN
May 23, 1976 Sunday A.M. Ana.

This is an expository message describing the last days of John the Baptist. The prophet of the Kingdom is contrasted to the religious phony. If you withdraw, have a good reason. This is a good message for the ministers in the Walk and it is perhaps a prelude of a thorough shaking of the Walk. (53 min.)

THE PASSOVER AFTER THE CROSSOVER–I
May 2, 1976 Sunday A.M. Val.
Most timely is this message for us as we anticipate the fulfillment of promises and the possession of all God has set before US. Here is the Joshua 5 story of a Passover for a people with hearts circumcised. Everything was changing in the transition from wilderness land to Beulah land. Then a new revelation of the “general” of the army was expedient. The first message, from the Valley, is probably more complete but the second version from Anaheim is included because of the vein of humor and different approach to the same basic word. Indeed, you will enjoy listening to both. This word may be emphasized and amplified in the immediate days ahead.

March 13, 1976 Saturday A.M. Ana.
This Sabbath opened with a solemn assembly with the strong appeal for all defilement to be purged and our prayers to be pure. The word that followed the time of repentance was an exposition of Malachi’s call for pure worship from a purified people. God indicts the defiled sacrifices by a polluted priesthood. Brother Stevens rates this word, especially the exhortations, as four star because the changes in us must be deep and real, and not superficial. (56 min.)
