Purim — We Execute The Judgments Written
In the book of Esther, the king decreed the hanging of Haman on the very gallows that Haman had built. However, the king could not reverse Haman’s plan for the destruction of the Jewish people that remained even after the death of Haman. On the plea of Esther, the king allowed her people to annihilate any of their enemies who intended to carry out Haman’s schemes; the ten sons of Haman were likewise hanged. Today, for us, it is not enough that Satan has been judged; we must execute the judgments written (Psalms 149:4-9) on those who would carry out Satan’s plan to destroy the people of God. We turn the schemes of the evil ones back on their own heads, and there will be no more Agagites remaining in the land.

A New Realm Of Faith

This Word creates a new level of faith in us to ask. Christ was hindered from fulfilling the prayer of the Canaanite woman because the new covenant that included the Gentiles was not yet established. However, the woman’s faith was so great that it leaped forward to appropriate the completion of that covenant. This is the faith that we must have — a faith that triggers the release of Christ’s power to subject all things to Himself. The Word concluded with an exhortation on how the prophetic community of Mount Zion is restoring the true heart of samba to the earth.

What Stops Us Now?

The Bible contains many covenants between God and specific people. God has made a covenant with us that He will write His Word on our hearts, we will be His people, and we will all know Him (Jeremiah 31:33-34). We must not be satisfied with acts of faith or with mighty works. We do not want it to be said of us, “And all these, having gained approval through their faith, did not receive what was promised” (Hebrews 11:39). Today, we end the cycle of walking by faith without obtaining the promise. In Christ, there is nothing stopping us from appropriating the fullness of what God has promised.

Tonight, we began the 2006 School Of Prophets in Mount Zion with repentance that prepares us for the new day that we are entering into with the Lord. We repent for anything in us that would cause us to miss His presence. We refuse to be like the five foolish virgins who were on the outside looking in (Matthew 25:10-12). We are driven to be included, and we press in to His Kingdom. “The law and the prophets were until John; since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presses into it” (Luke 16:16, KJV).
