DIGGING FOR OUR DEEP ROOTS
October 20, 1979 Saturday A.M. Shiloh
Days of fasting and prayer at Shiloh resulted in this word to Brother Stevens and must be shared. It must be listened to very carefully for it reveals the unrealized depth that the root of a wrong spirit can reach. It holds before us also the goal of attaining that deep root of a right and willing spirit. (44 min.)

THE SHEPHERD’S COMPASSION AND COMMISSION
October 20, 1979 Saturday Aft. Shiloh
Why can a grievance turn a heart away from a living word and a commission from the Lord? The answer is the love and compassion we have, for the Lord in His Word will reject every grievance, “takes no account of a wrong suffered.” By His Word we grow in grace and appropriate the grace to grow. October 14, 1979 Sunday A.M. Shiloh
This tongue-in-cheek presentation of the false premises by which Babylon functions is contrasted to the Kingdom truths and principles. Here are given fifty basic lies of Babylon in contrast to fifty basic biblical truths of the Kingdom. The sequel to the way Babylon operates and functions is found in the corresponding positive principles and Kingdom proverbs that creatively stimulates and produces the climate that is pregnant with potential for the Kingdom. This is one of the more practical messages on the Kingdom of God inasmuch as it comes in the back door with false, negative comments on fifty basic principles by which Babylon functions. September 30, 1979 Sunday A.M. Ana.
A right spirit is easily entreated by the Lord, but is not easily manipulated by the human spirit. Also, a right spirit does not manipulate on a human level, but leads in the Spirit. The Word deeply penetrates in the analysis of all that a right spirit is before God. This is the capstone of the ministries’ convocation. Revelation again opens the doors to the next level of Kingdom living. (57 1/2 min.)

BASIC BALANCES AND CORRECT EMPHASIS–PART 7
August 12, 1979 Sunday P.M. Iowa
The emphasis of the Kingdom and its great authority involved is balanced with the minimizing of position. Finally we see an elder as another sheep, but with a shepherd’s heart, and we see that apostles were not a religious aristocracy but the Lord’s gift to His people. The devastation of God’s dealings deposes us from the illusionary position we thought we had but never existed. (39 1/2 min.)

FAITH: MY KEY AND MY SHIELD
July 29, 1979 Sunday Aft. Shiloh
Ephesians 6 describes our faith as a shield that repels, resists and rejects the satanic assault against us. The other five chapters contain references to our faith as the means to our sustenance, our mutual edification and, in fact, the key to all of God’s great provision for us. Our faith in the Word must emphasize it as a shield in warfare or little that we believe for comes to pass. (39 min.)

DO I READ IT OR DO I EAT IT?
July 29, 1979 Sunday P.M. Iowa
Through the Scriptures the implication is given that the prophets and the apostles of the Lord did not merely read, they ate the Word of the Lord and they witnessed that it was sweet to the taste but bitter to the stomach. The difficult process is assimilation of the Word and becoming what it reveals. (33 min.)

ANXIOUS LONGING OR EARNEST EXPECTATION
July 29, 1979 Sunday A.M. Shiloh
We’re in the siege, but ours is not a frustration, but an “earnest expectation” of the deliverance from futility. Our prayers are not passive, but as aggressive as were Elijah’s when he prayed earnestly. EARNEST REJECTION

OUR UNWAVERING CONFESSION
July 22, 1979 Sunday A.M. Iowa
God holds the pen; your heart is the tablet. Let Him make a living tattoo upon your heart and upon your mind, and what He speaks to you, hold it with an unwavering hope and confession. Make your prayers an expression of that hope and faith. Never let your prayers be the whine of the desperately fearful. His word and His rebuke to our heart is always palatable because it is marinated in His love. When we speak His word let us speak the truth in love. (41 min.)

SEASONED WITH SALT
July 22, 1979 Sunday P.M. Iowa
The words that we speak will be the only preserving factor in all of this planet. These words must not be the mouthing of empty and trite phrases or the quotation of Scriptures by rote. We must let His Word dwell in us richly and then we speak, we sing psalms, we make melody in our hearts to the Lord. Do not let your word lose its salt because you have negated it by rebellion, criticism, “empty words.” (16 min.)

SATIATED WITH HIS FULLNESS
May 27, 1979 Sunday 7:00 A.M. Shiloh
Joel, the second chapter, is the chapter of spiritual outpouring and judgment. Acts 2 identifies it as the outpouring that opens the church age, but Joel 2 also embraces the outpouring and judgments that initiate the Kingdom age. The present outpouring will be characterized by universal judgments on the earth as well as blessings without measure upon the remnant until they will be satiated or “satisfied” with the Spirit’s fullness and joy. This is the fourth message that has come during the Feast of Pentecost with the California churches that emphasized the way the Holy Spirit changes our spirit. HOW THE FIRST BECOMES LAST
May 5, 1979 Saturday A.M. Ana.
The first shall be last and the last shall be first. The Holy Spirit is revealing to all of us this Kingdom principle and we are experiencing it. The secret of the multiplication of the great apostolic company is found in the humility of the leader who brings forth authority in the Timothy servants. Before changes come in the ministries, those over them have the revelation and vision for them to change. The humble kneeling leader allows the young ministries to leapfrog over him. (46 1/2 min.)

THE UPS AND DOWNS
May 20, 1979 Sunday 10:00 A.M. Iowa
This message, from the fourth chapter of Philippians, shows the consistent pattern that God uses to enlarge our faith, how He brings us to pinnacles of fulfillment and then strips us down so that we still, with full contentment and submission, believe Him with an even greater faith than we have before. The flow of faith in this service was incredible. As a pastor said, “A thousand problems were solved by this word of faith.” (32 min.)

April 28, 1979 Saturday A.M. Ana.
The boldness that comes by the Holy Spirit is a double sign. First it is a sign of our eminent victory. Secondly, it is a sign of the adversaries’ eminent defeat. In the New Testament Church they were filled with the Spirit and spoke the word with boldness and mighty signs followed. The desolation experience ends selfconfidence but opens the door to a holy boldness in God. (58 min.)

THE PIERCED HEARTS
May 12, 1979 Saturday 9:15 P.M. L.W. Bldg.
Among the 120 gathered for the day of Pentecost was Mary, the mother of the Lord. The times of restoration have come and many of God’s people are locked in the traditional churches, both in doctrines and experiences. Churches should be more flexible to embrace a present truth that God is restoring, for the hungry will jump the man-made fences. The responsibility rests on the shepherds to lead the sheep on or lose them. People should never have to leave a church to get more of God. (51 min.)

WHAT IS A WHORE OF BABYLON?
February 18, 1979 Sunday P.M. Shiloh
The difference between the whore of Babylon and the Bride of Christ is that Babylon prostitutes all that God has given her for a price. The harlot spirit is found in anyone who serves either God or another person for a price or for what they can receive in return. (31 min.)

YOUR FEELINGS ARE THE FACTS
February 19, 1979 Monday A.M. Shiloh
God looks upon the heart and by Him actions are weighed. The feeling the lust the motivation is deemed in the sight of God to be the equivalent of the act. The Kingdom comes when God has men who are as dedicated to His principles as they are to the actions that bring it forth. The dealings of God by His Word are a sword that pierces until it discovers the thoughts and the intents of the heart. (17 min.)

FEAR IS A DEEP ROOT
April 6, 1979 Friday P.M. L.W. Bldg.
I make my declaration against fear for I know it to be infectious to my spirit. If I fear it is like a low grade fever that chills my bones at every encounter, in every relationship, and in every hostile circumstance. I confess fear to be an evil thing, a sin against the integrity of God’s word, and I refuse it. (13 min.)

ALL OF GOD’S CHILDREN GOT SHOES
April 6, 1979 Friday P.M. L.W. Bldg.
In the Passover experiences God seems more concerned about our feet than our head. There are no Passover hats, but we leave Egypt with sandals on our feet, and when we stand in His presence we remove our sandals. Thus, we learn to walk and we learn to worship. (10 min.)

THE LOVE SLAVE THAT FREES HIS BOND SLAVES
April 6, 1979 Friday P.M. L.W. Bldg.

THE HUMBLE LOVE
March 26, 1979 Monday A.M. No. H.
The world has a type of love that is still competitive between husband and wife, parents and children, brothers and sisters. The Lord would devastate that competitiveness and teach us that true love is humble. “It vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not its own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil.” We love Him so we serve Him. This word came out of ministry to one of the little sisters that works freely in the Living Word Building. (11 min.)

DON’T LET THAT THING FESTER!
April 5, 1979 Thursday P.M. L.W. Bldg.
Resentment and bitterness grows every day that it is not checked and dealt with. A heart closes when an experience is interpreted with unbelief or rebellion. But faith opens the door for every word and every experience also to grow. How blessed is the forgiveness that prevents the growth of bitterness. We ultimately become the product of the things that have festered. (29 min.)

A SIMPLE FORMULA TO GREAT FAITH
April 1, 1979 Sunday A.M. Val.

THE FEAR OF REJECTION
March 11, 1979 Sunday A.M. Val.
The secret of the Gospel is that Christ suffered so that God could include us in His heart. But the fear of rejection in the old adamic nature so conditions us that we are slow to accept our acceptance by both God and the Body of Christ. When the fear of rejection is purged from us, the pure word of God will flow much freer between us. (20 min.)

YOUR FAITH IN LIMITATIONS
March 11, 1979 Sunday A.M. Ana.
We tend to believe more in the limitations that we have assumed or been taught about ourselves than we believe in the promises and provisions of God that deny those limitations and say, “All things are possible to him that believeth.” Defeat is already in the heart before you enter the fray. January 7, 1979 Sunday A.M. Val.
Here is the underlying basic principle of all life and ministry in the Kingdom of God. We do not work for the Lord but with Him. Our intercession is not at God but an expression of the Holy Spirit and of Christ our Lord interceding through us. This emphasis of a familiar principle is the key to the deeper worship and more effective intercession to come, another facet of Romans 8. (41 1/2 min.)

HOW WILL HIS KINGDOM PREVAIL?
November 26, 1978 Sunday A.M. Val.
The Kingdom of God and the kingdoms of this world coexist presently but eventually the kingdoms of this world will become the Kingdom of our Lord. How we relate to God’s Kingdom and the world’s kingdoms is the principle we need now, for we do not advocate the overthrow of governments and institutions, but rather their submission to the Lord. This must come about through spiritual, not physical means. (46 1/2 min.)

November 12, 1978 Sunday A.M. Val.
When you want to count the cost, it’s too much to pay. When the treasure hid in the field is revealed, no price is too great. We are committing ourselves to the big “yes” before we know what the question will be. We rejoice in the treasure until its price is of no consequence. (36 min.)

THE CROSS AND THE CARE THAT WE SHARE
November 11, 1978 Saturday A.M. Ana.
As the corporate Body of Christ we share the same status with one another, the same suffering, the same concern, the same care, and the same cross. The work of the cross in us is not so much for our personal experience as for our brother even as Christ suffered not for Himself but for us. (42 min.)

AM I WILLING TO BE WILLING?
November 5, 1978 Sunday A.M. Val.
We have a revelation of what we are to be but we find ourselves unwilling to pay the price involved. We are apprehensive and we murmur rather than possess Canaan. The giants seem so tall when viewed in reluctant unbelief. Lord, make us willing, or make us willing to be willing. This is the sequel to, “We Repent For What We Are Not.” (40 min.)

DO I KNOW ME?
November 5, 1978 Sunday A.M. Ana.
A Laodicean does not know when he is naked or poor or miserable. He does not know what his spiritual state is and if he did know, it would take some zealous repenting to motivate him out of it. What is the answer? The Lord says, “I know you,” and He alone can reveal to you your own heart. (30 min.)

Interlocked in the true definition of sonship is first the revelation of ourselves with the responsibility that is involved. As we sense our involvement and our commission we will despair from ever attaining that level of discipleship and we repent for what we have not yet attained as His sons. On this new level we repent more that we are not saints than we repent that we are sinners. (53 1/2 min.)

THE DEDICATION-REVELATION
October 28, 1978 Saturday A.M. Ana.
When God brings a revelation word to a man he faces two alternatives. First, if he accepts the revelation he must become dedicated to walk in that revelation. The other alternative is his refusal to walk in his revelation and he automatically submits to a measure of deception. The cross is involved in dedication and the disciple “dies” upon the word he receives. Deception will also lead to a death but that is a total spiritual death. (31 1/2 min.)

BEWARE OF GIBEON’S SURRENDER
October 29, 1978 Sunday A.M. Val.
The biggest deception that comes to you is often from those who pose no threat to you. The Gibeonites came to Joshua with a false submission and became one of the biggest problems. Their submission was based on a self-interest. Here again is a basic principle on spiritual relationships. (40 min.)

WHY WE SUBMIT
October 29, 1978 Sunday A.M. Ana.
There are several types of submission. Some, like Jonah, are submitting under discipline but their heart remains unchanged. Then there are those like the Gibeonites who are submitting for a selfish motive and advantage. They submit to make others responsible for their care. Then there are still others who are submissive without much understanding or dedication and then of course there are those who would be submissive to the Lord but with their conflicting loyalties they try to serve two masters. Lord, we want our worship and submission to be pure. (47 min.)

John, chapter 9, expounded here presents the observations of a blind man of the blindness of those with physical sight. October 22, 1978 Sunday A.M. Val.
Did you realize that the religious conscience we have is a degenerate, depraved thing in the adamic nature, the atrophied capacity for worship that existed before the fall. THERE WAS NO RELIGION IN EDEN
October 22, 1978 Sunday A.M. Ana.
Everything is evil that does not produce righteousness. The religious conscience strives often for works that do not produce righteousness. DON’T READ IT, EAT IT!
October 18, 1978 Wednesday P.M. Val.
The word is always the great issue. The battle is not with the circumstances or relationships or problems or weaknesses you face; the battle is with the word and your focus upon it. Don’t merely read it; eat it. Don’t be an explainer of the word; be an oracle of the word. It’s not our opinions or sermons but the predigested word coming forth. (32 min.)

October 19, 1978 Thursday P.M. Ana.
There are many problems to our oneness because every relationship in the Kingdom differs. These differences pose a problem to perfect unity and the performance of the perfect will of God. We must be dedicated and submissive in order to perfectly relate to one another. Only a supreme dedication can surmount the perils in a relationship that is unequal. The answer, of course, is a love that is great enough that it is dedicated. (60 min.)

The Feast of Booths should remind us that we’re out of Egypt’s prisons and we are mobile and move at the leading of the Lord to our destiny. THE SEARCH FOR THE LAST SPOT
October 15, 1978 Sunday A.M. Val.
The worst form of bondage is thelittle bondages or limitations that you don’t perceive that you have. These are the little foxes, the spots and wrinkles the Bride must remove. The worst deception is that we are unaware of what we have from God or we would reach for a greater revelation of Him and of those limitations we are unaware of. These terms are contradictory: an honest liar, a wise fool,an off-white robe of righteousness. (33 1/2 min.)

SILVER TUREEN OR CHAMBER POT?
October 15, 1978 Sunday A.M. Ana.
Each day of the feast required less sacrifices than the day before, for each day their need of purifying diminished. By the day of rejoicing they were ready to press into new levels of service. We are rejoicing in what He has done in us, but we weep before Him that we might rejoice even more. This feast our tears are the meat sandwich between the layers of bread of rejoicing. These tears determine whether we will be vessels of honor or dishonor. (36 min.)

Frustration is an expression of unbelief that stifles the creativity of faith. The same circumstances in our lives can throw us into frustration or stimulate a creative faith travail. October 14, 1978 Saturday A.M. Ana.
Ritual and tradition can become the greatest enemy of a revelation of God. Our observance of the feast based on revelation can create change. Religion can exist without revelation and without faith in God at all. Religion can be a cop-out for unbelief. Keep the feast with focus and revelation on the Lord, repentance, anticipation and gut level appropriation. (55 min.)

September 7, 1978 Thursday A.M. Shiloh
The most timely word to explain the present unique dealings Of the Lord upon His people is in this word from Moses. With an undimmed eye he had seen the eagle in the wilderness teach its young to fly. The Lord proclaims to His little ones, “Baby, I’m gonna teach you to fly.” (42 min.)

God teaches us to love and then commands us to increase, abound and excel in love. Note: He does not command you to be loved but to give love. Those born of God often have a greater need to give love than to receive love. (14 1/2 min.)

FREE BOND SERVANTS
July 4, 1978 Tuesday A.M. Ana.
This Living Word in no way harps on legalistic details of behavior. Because of the purity of the vision it brings forth a submission to a bond servant “bondage” which exceeds anything the most heavy-handed holiness preaching ever achieved. Rather than requiring forms or rules of discipleship the word is urging us to present our bodies a living sacrifice, to be genuinely concerned for the interests of the Lord. (31 1/2 min.)

July 5, 1978 Wednesday P.M. Ana.

May 28, 1978 Sunday A.M. Shiloh
We are ascending to the Pentecost of oneness and Psalm 133 is that Psalm of Ascents that speaks of that oneness. The basic problems of oneness in this word reveal our hearts. THE MACEDONIAN PARADOX
July 2, 1978 Sunday P.M. SoG.
The Macadonian paradox was that the poorest people were the greatest givers and that they gave more than they had. Giving can be a gift-grace in which God causes an abundance of time, energy, resources and finances to flow through a ministry of vision who believes for the will of God to come forth in the earth. (48 min.)

THE HUMBLED ARE HONORED
May 27, 1978 Saturday A.M. Shiloh
The factors of greatness in the Kingdom of God are outlined in this definitive teaching on discipleship. A disciple is one with the Lord and dedicated to bring others into that oneness with the Lord. He has a capacity to relate people to the Lord and not to himself. A disciple is not greater than his Lord but he believes to do greater works than He did and he believes that those who are taught by Him will also do greater works in turn than He has. If he is humble, he is honored with a double portion. (35 min.)

Both the Valley and the Anaheim word is combined in this tape. A great deal of prophetic flow in Anaheim is combined with the Valley’s Romans 8 message. The present pattern of services is thus: 1) the intense intercession, 2) the breakthrough into worship, and 3) the high level of prophecy. The prophecy is high level. (21 min.)
